Abacus Real Estate is not a large, faceless organisation with long corridors of expensive offices that you, as my client, will have to pay for.  My name is Nick Lahey-Bean and I am the principal of Abacus Real Estate.  I am a Chartered Surveyor and I have had nearly 30 years of professional experience in the Real Estate industry.  

For sixteen years I provided consultancy services on behalf of FPDSavills in the UK where I was Head of Commercial Property Management.  My clients included Corporations such as AT&T, Avco Trust, British Telecom, Cadbury Schweppes, Dun & Bradstreet, Ernst & Young, IBM, National Westminster Bank, NCR Corporation, Otis Lifts, Reuters, & Silicon Graphics.

More recently I was Director of Real Estate with NCR Corporation with overall responsibility for the management of a 4.8 million sq.ft. mixed use property portfolio throughout 55 countries in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

This blend of experience, as client and consultant, has given me a unique perspective of the needs of my clients.  I have learned to listen to you.  Everyone's needs are different - you know best what your own real estate headaches are.
